Why Homes 4 Families?

To date, Homes 4 Families has partnered with non-profits, government entities, and corporations to bring the outcome-proven Enriched Neighborhood® model to communities.

Hello & Welcome

Our mission is to build resiliency, economic growth, neighborhoods, and homes for veteran families.

In order to recognize the enormous sacrifice made by our veterans, and meet their growing needs, we empower low-income veterans and their families to enter the middle class through affordable, full-equity homeownership and sustainable housing combined with holistic services that build resiliency, self-sufficiency and economic growth. We developed our innovative and outcome-proven Enriched Neighborhood® model, in which service members, veterans, and their families gain access to comprehensive wraparound services in addition to permanent housing.

Our Progress

Construction and Social Services are 96-98% of our Spending Each Year

That is, as documented by our third party audit, only 2 to 4% annually goes to administration and fundraising.

Education

The average GPA of the children in both military communities is 3.25. 35% of adults are currently enrolled in college or a trade school since their selection.

Homes

98% of our families that moved in married are still married. Less than 1% foreclosures.

Families & Living

There have been 0 teen pregnancies in our communities. 100% have healthcare.

A Little Of Our Story

For many veterans (those employed but living in cars or couch-surfing, recently returned, and those at crossroads), homelessness can be prevented with housing, training and hope. A study found that at least 40% of service members leave the military without having identified permanent housing. We can either provide housing and skills for them to move up the economic ladder now, or we can continue to deal with the growth of veteran homelessness.
